On 1st of September we went to Thorpe Park we stepped inside a lost civilisation packed with intense rides to satisfy even the most demanding Spirit TKD thrill seekers. The mystical first ride we went on was, Zodiac and then Quantum that are are just inside the ancient walls. Some Spirits students then entered the fishing village and where hit by a giant tidal wave, the wave soon attack again causing utter devastation, but was a good experience. Lucky enough there was a giant Flying Fish ready to take us away to safety.
If you have ever wanted to be the swat you use to kill a fly, well look no further the intense revolving sky swat experience of Slammer was up next, a good ride and fun was had by all. At this point we all stopped for lunch.
After lunch the perfect way to get your dinner go down was the ultimate stomach churning experience of the mighty Samurai. I think those who went on truly enjoyed this ride the most as we went on again at the end. By far the most challenging ride was the jaw dropping 5.5 g-force tower drop of Detonator!!!!!!!
We also went on the thrilling Loggers Leap log flume (the tallest in the UK) and Rumba Rapids.
A great day was had by all members and a big thank you in making it such a memorable day, we have even got next years date’s the 1st September 2009 pencilled in already.
Thorpe Park is the UK's most thrilling theme park with incredible rides including Tidal Wave, Slammer and Rush. The last few years have seen the addition of an “unholy trinity” of fantastic roller coasters - 10 looping Colossus, the heart pounding Nemesis Inferno and Europe's tallest fastest launched roller coaster, Stealth.
